What are the best products from the ordinary?

Are the ordinary products good? I've been struggling with my skin ever since my late teens, I was blessed with in my early teens so I thought I would just go my whole life people free that was not the case turns out the same thing happened to my mom she didn't have any pimples in her teens and then her 20s were like full of acne so runs in the family the only vegan cruelty-free skincare that really worked for my skin and I worked I mean kept the pimples down to kind of a minimum was SK-II but SK-II is ridiculously expensive the facial cleanser was $65 and the lotion was like $45 granted they would last me two or three months so that was awesome but still making those purchases was a lot of my bank account so about a month ago I was looking to change my moisturizer to something new and I asked some of my friends and colleagues to suggest to me a vegan cruelty-free moisturizer that works for you and a lot of you suggested a brand called the ordinary-looking into the brand I was shocked at how inexpensive it was considering they're vegan cruelty-free and have decent ingredients the price tags just blew my mind going on spending $65 on a cleanser to spending like seven dollars on a cleanser you just get kind of suspicious of the seven dollar cleanser I mean what is in it how is it so cheap is it even any good so I decided to try an experiment A little background on the brand so the Ordinary is a Canadian-based skincare company it falls under the umbrella. it's the 3rd brainchild of a brand called Deciem They call themselves the abnormal beauty company Deciem also produces Hylamide Which is kind of like their middle this company works kind of like a good, better, best systems the Ordinary is what they call their least expensive line and that's good and then the Hylamide is kind of like better and then this NIOD. The NIOD one is their best line, the more premium, the most expensive At first I only bought like 5 or 6 of the products but I had so many questions on my mind, I didn't feel like I could give an example review with just those products so I went out and got 23 of the products to try which is nearly their entire line of skincare

The Ordinary Squalene Cleanser

The most amazing cleanser ever. I’m addicted. It removes makeup and grime but also makes your face feel like a million bucks. I quit using foundation because my face was glowing and I was receiving compliments

The Ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

Straight up niacinamide serum with zinc added. Everyone concerned with their skin should be using this daily. Niacinamide in this strength will help keep your skin cells young, increase ATP of the skin cells for optimal health, reduce excess oil in the skin (not drying though), and decrease hyperpigmentation, even the PIH from acne. This is the best one out there, trust me!

The Ordinary Hyaluronic Acid 2% + B5

I really like this ordinary face product. My skin is quite oily to a point that I feel embarrassed. Since I started using this hyaluronic acid it became oil free and much smoother. I totally recommend it.

The Ordinary Lactic Acid 10% + Ha

You got acne? But this! You got oily skin? But this! Did you get tiny bumps and uneven skin tone? But this!! It works, been using it for 3 or 4 months altogether and out 8 has changed my oily, cystic acne, tiny bumps skin.

The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Toning Solution

I've been using nightly for about a week after washing my face before bed. I only notice the 'sticky' feeling if I'm awake for a while after I apply it. In a week I've definitely noticed smaller pores and a smoother appearance. I have sensitive skin and acne/acne scarring, and this product hasn't caused any flare-ups so far. Will continue using!

The Ordinary 100% Plant-derived Squalane

This has become a part of my normal skin care routine. It’s really smooth and absorbs quickly but doesn’t have a drying feeling. I put it on morning and night under Camilla oil and moisturizer and I can feel and see a huge difference. Which is saying a lot for my skin during wintertime!

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors + HA Surface Hydration

No scent, no clogged pores, no oily mess on my pillow. Just a weightless moisturizer that I love to use at night.

The Ordinary Vitamin C Suspension 23% + HA Spheres 2%

Nice Vitamin C cream that cannot get oxidized cause it’s in suspension instead of solution. Slightly (or not so slightly) tingles on application but that is normal for Vit C, as you need to build a tolerance to it. Great price-great product.

The Ordinary Retinol 1% in Squalane

Excellent and inexpensive. No irritation. Only need 2 drops so it goes a long way.

The Ordinary Alpha Arbutin 2% + Ha

BLESS. This stuff rules. It's plumping my fine lines, making my skin tone better, and getting rid of my sun spots!

The Ordinary 100% Organic Cold-Pressed Rose Hip Seed Oil

I have wasted so much time and money on other magical serums and NOTHING has made my face feel as wonderful as this.

The Ordinary Buffet

If you know anything about skin care, you know that this is amazing! I've been using it daily AM and PM for 3 months now along with the other recommend product for the "general signs of aging" regimen

The Ordinary Mandelic Acid 10% + HA with AHA and Hyaluronic Acid

I have been using this product for about 2-3 weeks now. I have seen a drastic improvement in my hyperpigmentation and texture of my skin. I use it daily at night after cleaning my face. I have peeled about twice but I exfoliate every morning so that’s not a big deal. A lot of people said it’s oily, but I wouldn’t really describe it as that. It’s definitely lightweight. Has no strong odor. Overall I like the product and plan to continue to use it.

The Ordinary Caffeine Solution 5% + EGCG

The less I use the better it works. It does seem to de puff my eyes and my dark circles are lighter. Has no smell.

The Ordinary Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3% Antioxidant

Love this product, especially when used with the Vitamin C. Your skin feels wonderful and it makes a real difference over a short period of time.

The Ordinary Multi-Peptide Serum for Hair Density

Excellent product, alcohol free which is rare these days, and feel good on the scalp.

Ascorbyl Glucoside Solution 12%

Works really well on dark spots, good for day/night use just make sure to apply an SPF after for day time.

The Ordinary 100% Cold-pressed Virgin Marula Oil

So far, this product is a dupe for my Drunk Elephant Marula oil that is far more expensive! Does not smell bad, not too oily and works well with combination skin

The Ordinary Argireline Solution 10%

Wow! I have a very expressionful face and at 35 lines were already starting to form. I had tried moisturizers and retinol and had resorted to botox a few times but I just can't justify the expense. I came across this and have liked other products by the ordinary so decided to try it out. After a week the results are startling, lines have already begun to visibly fade. I can't wait to see what this does after 30 days!

The Ordinary High-Adherence Silicone Primer

Nice primer especially for the price. The Ordinary high spread ability fluid primer absorbs quicker for me and leaves my skin feeling super smooth. I love The Ordinary products! I do have to say that as great as the prices are

The Ordinary Matrixyl 10% + HA

I would never be without this as it has totally changed my skin texture and fine lines without any irritation to my hyper-sensitive skin.

The Ordinary Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate 10%

Love the feel of this on my face, can't wait to see results after using for a few weeks.

The Ordinary Pycnogenol 5%

This product worked great for my acne-prone, oily, sensitive skin. It has a bit of a herbal smell and is a bit warm as you put it on. Only use 2 drops at a time which I add to my day serums
